Is anyone else reading what could be described as one of the best Marvel Space Epics EVER?
At first I was on the fence with this one. There was no doubt in my mind about whether or not I would be buying it and all of it's mini-series' and core book, but I was unsure of the art and some of the characters. The art in SuperSkrull definitely grew on me, and what happened in the Silver Surfer mini blew me away while sending a chill down my spine at the same time. Keith Giffen is doing a Marvelous job with this story, and he's using one of my favorite villains as the major antagonist. This book isn't for everybody, though, as I realize that people can get too lost in the weird alien names and space jargan. It's hit the spot for me, though, and I recommend this to anyone who has even the slightest hankering for the cosmic.

Glenn is going to shoot me, I know it.
I just finished reading Kingdom Come... for the first time EVER!
(runs in the corner and cowers in fear). yes yes, I know. It's been in a huge stack of stuff that TMT had for me to read (along with Marvels, Earth X and The Watchmen).
I know this is like talking about a movie that came out ten years ago that you are just seeing for the first time, so bear with me.
I've always adored Alex Ross's artwork. It's beautiful and moving. I was blown away by Kingdom Come. We all know that I think Mark Waid walks on water (as evident from my FF raves about him)... I can't believe I'm just now reading this. I almost feel ashamed of myself for waiting for so long.

MODENA, ITALY: The Panini Group is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Virgin Comics L.L.C. , to become its long term master licensee for comic books, comic magazines, trade paperbacks and graphic novels, in Europe (UK and Ireland excluded) and in all of Latin America.

Under this agreement, Panini will market in a variety of periodical and book formats the bold new titles produced under the Virgin Comics logo, which combine the mystical and epic aspects of Indian culture â mostly reintroduced by Deepak Chopra and Shekhar Kapur, with the cutting edge concepts of some of the leading filmmakers and performers worldwide, including John Woo (Face-Off, Mission Impossible 2), Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels) Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), and more.
