Mary Jane, Gwen "She's Dead Jim!" Stacy, or Felicia Hardy? Who would you really want to see our downtrodden hero wind up with permenantly.
I'd have to say MJ. As much as I love Felicia, she's too high maintenance for Peter. Felicia is the one night stand girl... Mary Jane is the kind of girl you take home to mom...or Aunt May. Which he did.
So, who's your pick? Or is it someone completely different than those I've listed?

I hate starting threads like these! LOL.
But, since I don't really know about alot of you, I want to know who you're favorite X-er's are and Villians and WHY...
Favorite X-Man for me... Gambit. Yes, I know, most folks have a love/hate relationship with the cajun. Me, gots ta love mah Gambit. Sure, he's got a hoaky accent, he's a man-whore, but there's just somethin' about him that draws the ladies like drunks to Bourbon Street. It's the good guy bad boy theory I think.
Favorite Bad Boy X-Villian...He who walks with the funky cape and the red diamond bindi. What makes Nate so cool to me, is simply that he creeps me out. Seriously, the guy dug up his dead son and preformed experiements on him. Sure, Mags has done some henious crap in his day, but can he top THAT??? Sinister just exudes that "weird uncle" vibe from him that makes you check under the bed at night...and I kinda like that.

TOKYO (Reuters) - Ling Ling, Japan's perennially unlucky giant panda, has once again failed to father an offspring -- even with the help of science.
Keepers at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo said on Wednesday that attempts to artificially impregnate a female panda on loan from Mexico had failed, ending months of anxious speculation.
When female panda Shuan Shuan was brought to Tokyo in December, it was hoped that she and the Beijing-born Ling Ling might click romantically. Sparks were few, so the zoo turned to artificial insemination.
In spring, Shuan Shuan began showing signs of pregnancy, leading panda watchers to hope for the patter of tiny paws.
But the signs, including changed eating habits and nest-building, turned out to be a false pregnancy.
Before Shuan Shuan's Tokyo sojourn, Ling Ling had made three separate unsuccessful trips to Mexico.
The 18-year-old male is one of eight pandas in Japan, and the only panda living permanently at Ueno Zoo.
There are only an estimated 800 to 1,000 pandas left in the wild, and they are notoriously difficult to breed in captivity.
Females come on heat only once a year for a few days, and can be picky about partners.
The news was a disappointment for the Tokyo zoo, the first in Japan to have a panda.
"Pandas are like the symbolic face of the zoo," said spokesman Masanari Ono. "It's a terrible shame that we couldn't breed any this time."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For a species that's endangered, you'd think they wouldn't be so darned picky!
A chance for you to air your opinions on certian writers and artists.
Writer-You all know who I'm going to say. It's pretty obvious I'm never going to forgive Grant Morrison and will spend the remainder of my days railing against the hack.
Same goes for Igor Kordey...
So, who do you have a beef with and why?
DC Comics has announced today that writer Bruce Jones has signed an exclusive agreement with DC Comics. Jones is best known in the comics community for his work on "The Hulk" and other titles for Marvel. DC also confirmed the rumor floated by Rich Johnston this Monday that Jones was lined up to write "Vigilante."
Official Press Release
Bruce Jones, writer of comics including The Hulk, Spider-Man's Tangle Web and many others, has signed a 2-year exclusive agreement with DC Comics. Jones will be writing for VERTIGO, the DCU, and WildStorm, starting with the miniseries VIGILANTE and a story arc in BATMAN: LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT.
"I've been itching to come over and play in the DC sandbox for years now - to reacquaint myself with old friends both inside the books and out, and to meet new faces," says Jones. "Some of my earliest work was for DC, and it's been too long since I roamed the New York editorial halls (and now the La Jolla editorial halls!) figuratively and literally. I honestly think VIGILANTE is shaping up to be one of my best efforts, and I'm looking forward to continued work with Alex Sinclair on the series. At the same time, I'm enjoying my work with Jonathan Vankin, Joey Cavalieri, Scott Dunbier, and others, as well as Karen Berger on several weird and way-out VERTIGO projects. All in all, I think this is going to be one of my most exciting times in comics!"
Karen Berger, VP - Executive Editor, VERTIGO, says, "We're delighted to have a writer of Bruce's talent and experience here at DC, and we look forward to working with him on projects that will showcase his signature style of modern horror."
"Bruce Jones' versatility and professionalism make him a real asset to DC Comics," says Dan DiDio, DC's VP - Editorial. "We're truly excited to see what he's going to bring to the DCU."
"As a fan of Bruce Jones' work for more than 25 years, it's great to finally get a chance to work with him," says Scott Dunbier, Executive Editor, WildStorm. "I anxiously await whatever ideas his unique vision will deliver."
As he did with issue #1, former/original penciler of Excalibur, Igor Kordey has placed his penciled pages from the just released issue #2 of the series, which he had completed prior to being fired from the series.
Newsarama has posted a sequence from the issue (by current penciler Aaron Lopresti) â pages 4-8, which show the new Ernie and Bert of the X-Universe, Professor Xavier and (the recently discovered to be alive) Magneto discussing philosophies and recent events, while preparing dinner. Domestic bliss, mutant style.
I know Lopresti isn't everyone's cup of tea, but seeing these images side by side, I can't help but think Korday's look very rushed and definitely lack the dynamism and interest of Lopresti's layouts. Lopresti has managed to give some interest to what is effectively five pages of talky talk. Personally I think Mr Korday should have kept his pencils to himself, because he has really done himself no favours by showing them in this state, perhaps inked and colored they might acquit themselves better against Lopresti's finished pages but no amount of work by inker and colorist can fix bad layouts i'm afraid.
What is the WORST comic you've read recently and why? |
I would have to say that the WORST comic that I have had the displeasure of reading lately, and I know you will disagree with me honey, is Ultimate Fantastic Four. Don't get me wrong. In actuality, it's storyline is one of the best I have read lately, but to anyone who is a classic marvel buff, and you are reading this comic, and are up to date with the newest issues, you will have the same reaction that I am. WHAT THE @$^!$% ARE THEY DOING TO DR. DOOM?! Nova keeps saying to give it time and that I might eventually grow to like it or they might continue to change him, but THAT is not MY Dr. Doom, and until they make a change for the better, this book will remain on my poop list.
There's a new "Nova" comic book series from Marvel in the works. A kind of "Starship Troopers" style comic, using the Nova Corp as an international marines-style team. The writers are believed to be Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.
From the portal the heroes stepped, newly christened as The Watch. Acting on instinct alone, they did exactly as they were told. They took in their surroundings, observing as many details as they could. On the surface they appeared to be in a well manicured, fully blooming forest. But they only had to look slightly beyond the trees to see the larger picture. Very quickly most of the group realized where they truly were. Large buildings could be seen towering over the trees, most of which were recognizable enough to tell the group that they were in New York City. To be precise, they were in Central Park. And judging by the reflections on the glass and steel monoliths that towered just beyond the trees, and the ever growing shadows cast by the growth all around them, they knew that they had an hour of sunlight remaining at best.
