And what is "The Messenger"? I have not heard of that one. Oh and Tessa.......Hanson? - Tessa - 06-09-2004 Yes, Hanson...they have always been wrongly categorized with boy bands, and their last two albums don't sound anything like their first one (Which was scary bubblegum pop). ~Tessa~ hahahaa! - TheBeyonder - 06-09-2004 I actually admire you for being brave enough to post that here. I have never listened to Hanson, but I respect your right to like anything you want (even if it is Hanson). I will download a couple of their new songs, and see if they have actually grown to be real musicians. I am a huge music fan(1500CDs and 2300MP3s)and pop is typically not on my playlists. But if it's good music,it's good music, and I'll listen to it. We all have our guilty pleasure band we like, but most of us just keep them to ourselves(until we get caught dancing to Britney in our bed room.) :oopsy: hahaha. TheBeyonder -Oom Bop! - Tessa - 06-09-2004 Lol, the song I really reccomend downloading is 'Broken Angel'...and yeah, I figured I'd just go all bratty if somebody decided to ostracize me for what I like. ~Tessa~ - Enchantress - 06-09-2004 Be careful there... cause then, someone could say you're "Infected" with the Hanson bug :-) But then again..you're user title says it all.. mwahahaha! Ok, back on to the topic! - Local Hero - 06-09-2004 mmmm.. *bop* - Solace - 06-10-2004 Firstly anyone who knows me knows I canât just chose fiveâ¦so Iâm going with the first five that come to my mindâ¦.. Top Five Artists: The Rolling Stones Hanson (Yes, I will freely admit Iâm a Hanson fanâ¦.and if you canât deal with that itâs your problem not mine!) Johnny Lang Jeremy Camp The Beatles Top Five Movies: The Lord of the Rings (All three of themâ¦) Newsies Gangs of New York The Lost Boys Interview With The Vampire Top Five Cartoons: Gargoyles Daria Weekenders Smurfs Care Bears - The Truth - 06-10-2004 TheBeyonder Wrote:And what is "The Messenger"? They're cool in my book. Local, which Thing? Howard Hawkes or John Carpenter? Two completely different flicks but I gotta admit to loving both for vastly different reasons. And, have you read the short story "Who Goes There?" that they are both based on? Man, it's cool. :-) I gotta agree that Mean Guns is a good one, but, Truth, which film called The Messenger? There have been many. Glenn - The Truth - 06-10-2004 The one with Milla Jovovich. Click the link I provided if you're still fuzzy on which is which. - SLVRSR4 - 06-10-2004 First of all, I'd like to say that SOLACE has a good head on her shoulders. Johnny Lang is one of my personal favorites as well. Secondly, I would also like to state that my decisions change with my moods. What is on my lists now may not be my choices of tomorrow or a week from now. Music: BLUES TRAVELER: All time favorite band. Reel Big Fish Aerosmith The Darkness: I know what your oppinion is Chanty, but let me have mine. Nickelback: One of the best live performances I've Ever seen. MOVIES: Princess Mononoke Most Comic movies (X-Men, Daredevil, Spiderman) Kevin Smith Movies Pirates of the Carribean Bowling for Columbine Cartoons: Disney Movies: (Finding Nemo, Atlantis, Lion King are amongst my favorites.) Dragon Ball: Original, Z, and GT Adult Swim Cartoons: (Aqua teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Sealab 2021, Family Guy, Futurama) Simpsons Inuyasha - Local Hero - 06-10-2004 I love both versions of The Thing too. The original for it's (cheesy now) effects but great tension and inventiveness. The Carpenter version for it's splatterness and great ensemble cast. |
