For six issues, Greg Rucka has called Adventures of Superman home, jumping in and tackling a Clark Kent who now works the graveyard shift of the crme beat (taking him out of the Daily Planet office and into a cramped, small office in the basement of the SCU HQ); Lois Lane, who headed out to the Middle East to cover a war; Mr. Mxyzpltk, back with vague warnings of a coming danger; and Ruin, a new puppetmaster whoâs already caused the death of an old JLA enemy (Replikon), as well as Replikonâs daughter.
And thatâs just in six months.
Most recently, Lois took a bullet through the chest, perilously close to the heart in Umec, and Superman rushed in to save her. A simple, heroic act that, as Superman will learn, wasnât everything it seemed to be.
In Newsaramaâs first installment of a weekâs worth of chats with Greg Rucka and Ed Brubaker, we caught up with Rucka to talk about Superman, Lois, and the cast of Adventures of Superman.
