But really, Thor is taking me to Red Lobster for my birthday *don't ask a lady her age! It'll get ya killed!*, minus the broken foot this year, and I don't know, he told me maybe a trip to the jewelry store...Hmmm... :couch: I know I know, I'm spoiled enough already right????

Happy birthday, Chanty, have a couple of those cool bread things at Red Lobster for me. :-)

My weekend includes gaming Friday night, basketball Saturday morning, a Philadelphia Wings (Jenn and I are HUGE pro indoor lacrosse fans) game Saturday night and a Bridal show Sunday afternoon. Whenever I get time in between all that I'll be trying to write. Only trying because I've been blocked for awhile.

My weekend holds a possible trip to the Mall of America to go Prom dress shoping, spending Saturday morning grooming horses and then probably lounging the rest of the weekend....I lead a very boring life ^_^ Btw hope you enjoy your birthday Chanty ^_^

well, since the federal government finally decided to cough up our tax money, I'm going SHOPPING TOMORROW.

oh, and sorry guys, but The Darkness is about 20 years too late trying to ride the wave of the 80s hair bands. It's pathetic and sad, and passe on top of it. I liked The Darkness alot better when they were called Poison!

And that's the BIRTHDAY GIRL'S Opinion on it.

I get to go shopping tomorrow afternoon! I'll probably get lost in the mall since I always seem to do that when I go up to the Twin Cities...but that is entirely beside the point.

Oh, and to add my two cents about The Darkness: they are truly frightening...I heard the lead singer sucks helium so he can sound like that Confusedhock:

Oh, come on, the retro-ness is what makes them rock so.

And no busting on Poison - terrible performers, but really nice guys. My old writing partner worked for them for years.

Don't let Enchantress fool you, she's got a 80s hair band cd collection that would rival Ted Nugent's buffalo collection.

I know for a fact she's got "Poison's Greatest Hits" in her car right now.

They call me The Watcher for a reason.

I had a great birthday, did some shopping, got a great new book on the memoirs of Cleopatra, went to Red Lobster and ate a few chedder biscuits for Glenn.

But turning 29*again* wasn't that bad. In all it was a pretty cool day.

I know also the kind of music Enhantress listens to for I have seen a lot of the CDs first hand! Hey, I'm DEFINITELY not saying THE DARKNESS is for everyone, in fact, I could definitely see why one could HATE them, but the show KICKED BUTT! A friend that went with us caught TWO guitar picks (one from the opening act and one from the Darkness!) lucky S.O.B! after the show we had about 2 hours to kill before our train departed for home, so we waited around the venue and watched the roadies load the trucks up. After about an hour of standing around and talking with other fans, our waiting PAID OFF! Here comes the DARKNESS from out of one of the side entrances. We got to meet the band and all got autographs! IT WAS THE COOOOOOOOOLEST! They are REALLY NICE GUYS!

Woo hoo! Nice bling bling! Smile

Woo hoo! Bread things! Smile

And watch that age thing... I had stopped counting at 26 and pretended to be that for so long when I went to the hospital for the first time it took me more than a few minutes to answer the question "How old are you?" Big Grin

P.S. Happy happy yesterday.
