True, it would at least make sense for a fellow mutant to show up. Maybe a better example would be a Spider-man cameo. If Marvel felt the need to have one of its "big guns" show up in Gambit's Big Easy backyard, it would show very little confidence in the book, and would be an obvious ploy to bolster sales.

But as long as that doesn't happen, I think the Ragin' Cajun is good to go.
