This being a strictly Marvel project, rather than having a middleman or separate production company, Marvel has taken the bull by the horns. One of their decrees has been to do mainstream advertising - and based on the ads we have all seen by now, they are keeping their word.
As for what could be a PG13 rating, I think it may be more in line with the violence than the randy Ultimate Hulk we all have in mind.
Just for the record, folks who have seen it are saying it's more close to the regular Avengers standing in for the Ultimates although it does loosely follow the same events depicted in Ultimates Volume One. The storyline is however reversed - first the alien invasion, then the Hulk.
Looking forward to this quite a bit. Next up on the shelf for Marvel animated DVDs are Iron Man and Dr. Strange, purported to be origin stories, and a second Ultimate Avengers, which won't follow from the comics.
