Kei looked at Chandi, âDonât like New York âcause it ainât my kind of place.â She responded simply, âNot enough open space, too much of a city for my taste, plus its not warm enough.â Kei messed with the hem of her tank top, looking around then back at the other woman, âI like my waves, my oceanâ¦its not the same kind of freedom in New York.â It was perfect reasoning to her, whether Chandi understood or not she couldnât tell but at least she had explained herself.
Sprawling out in one of the seats she looked over at the person next to her, realizing it was John and he looked about as happy to be here as she did, âOur genius plan didnât work, got any other ones?â She asked him in a hushed tone, âIts obvious weâre not physically getting away from these people, but we might as well cause havoc while weâre here.â Kei gave him an alarmingly Cheshire smile, trying to make the best of the situation.
