That game ended up being about a 2000 point game and took about 3 hours!!!!! We only got 5 actions per turn and ended up using a bunch of characters that would ordinarily be untouched. For example: I got saddled up with Unique Joker and Black Manta, While Nova had to use Hobgoblin and a couple of Hand Ninjas!!! 
It was a bunch of fun though. The worst part was when my Kingdom Come superman Critical missed TWICE trying to get a pot shot off on cheap characters that were more nuisance than anything.
